April 30 Deadline for Federal Tax Credit: Buy An Atlanta Georgia Home
If you are planning to take advantage of the $8,000 tac credit to buy an Atlanta Georgia home, you must be UNDER CONTRACT by April 30, 2010. You have less than two weeks left to identify a home and work out a purchase and sale agreement with the seller.
The $8,000 Federal Tax credit requires you to have a binding purchase and sale agreement by April 30 and then you have to close the sale in 60 days. But May 1 will not work for the purchase and sale agreement. BOTH buyer and seller will have to sign the purchase and sale agreement by midnight on April 30th.
Home Buyers: can you afford to pass up on a $8,000 handout from Uncle Sam! Most real estate professionals and economists expect this to be the last of the incentives to spur growth in the housing sector of our economy.
